Rohloff – DH Chain Guide hub (for 15, 16, 17 tooth threaded sprockets) (8291)

The Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 Rohloff DH chain guide prevents the chain from falling inwards on the hub. Dropping the chain, although very rare, can occur during downhill cycling and heavy falls. The Rohloff DH chain guide can only be used with 15, 16 and 17 tooth sprockets. The 13-tooth sprocket has a different chainline (58mm instead of 54mm). Therefore, the DH chain guide is not effective when using the 13 sprocket. The combination of the DH chain guide and the DH chain tensioner guarantees a high degree of safety in terms of „chain drop”.
