Hiker
Gravel bike with Alfine gear hub
8/11 speed for the real adventurous experience
Booda Bike Hiker is designed for the adventurous. Designed for gravel ground. The 8/11-speed gear hub model is a real specialty on the market. Schwalbe Allround Performance tubeless tires adhere very well to gravel soils, but can also be used on asphalt. The geometry results in a posture that is comfortable, even on long hikes. The Microshift Inter 8/11 shift lever is a real gem of a bike. The steel frame is just flexible enough to absorb uncomfortable resonances, but stiff enough not to spoil the riding experience.

Steel frame
The frame is the most important element of the bike, so it gets huge attention in the design. Due to the material properties of steel, it pleasantly dampens vibrations, but gives enough rigidity to make turning a real experience.

Alfine 8/11 gear hub
The Shimano Alfine 8 and 11 internal gear hubs offer smooth, low-maintenance shifting with sealed designs that use grease (Alfine 8) or oil-bath lubrication (Alfine 11) for optimal durability. The Alfine 8 provides a 307% gear range, while the Alfine 11 offers a wider 409% range, making it ideal for varied terrain and urban commuting alike.

~ 11.5 kg
The bike weighs approximately 11.5 kilograms without accessories, which is outstanding for a steel-framed, hub-geared bike of this type. This is thanks to the high-quality steel frame and the carbon fork. The low weight is key to providing a comfortable and enjoyable riding experience.

Mechanical disc brakes
With the Shimano Alfine internal gear hub and drop handlebars, only the Inter 8/11 shifter-brake lever is compatible. That’s why we use mechanical brakes — however, thanks to the 160 mm front and rear rotors, the braking performance is excellent.

Gates Carbon Drive system
The Gates Carbon Drive belt system is clean, quiet, and virtually maintenance-free. It doesn’t require lubrication, won’t rust, and lasts significantly longer than a traditional chain. A premium choice for smooth and reliable riding.

Internal cable routing
Every detail of the bike was carefully designed to keep it beautiful and clean, which is why we use internal cable routing as an essential feature.
Customizte your ride!
We have designed our bicycles in such a way that they offer the best possible cycling experience with low maintenance. We selected the most suitable components based on our experience gained during many years of building custom bikes. The components are standardized, so our bicycles can be repaired at any service station. Thanks to this, we get a bicycle that is easy and inexpensive to maintain, and which is very enjoyable to ride.

Maximum performance on both uphill and downhill
This bike is for adventurers who want to ride on hard terrain but also enjoy the speed they get on the asphalt. The geometry of the Hiker allows you to turn comfortably but efficiently on both uphill and downhill slopes.
Choose it with a Supernova dynamo lighting system!
Choose the dynamo-powered Supernova E3 Pure 3 lighting system with a Shutter Precision hub dynamo if you want worry-free, continuous lighting on your bike. The rear light can be mounted on the rear rack, or the seatpost clamp—whichever suits you best.

Battery-powered Supernova light
Choose your bike with the battery-powered Supernova Airstream 2 headlight, paired with an integrated rear light mounted on the seatpost clamp. The front light is removable and can also be used as a flashlight, making it easy to recharge.
Rear rack, so you can carry all your extra gear with ease.
Choose the Tubus Fly Classic rear rack, optionally with an integrated rear light (available for the Supernova Airstream 2 and Supernova E3 systems).

Gates CDX Carbon Belt Drive System
The CDX Belt drive system is the most durable system. It provides high performance and reliability with low maintenance.
High puncture resistance, tubeless fluid
Schwalbe tires are among the best options on the market for our bikes. We supply them tubeless by default, as the sealant helps seal small punctures, reducing the chance of flats. Our bikes are also available with TPU inner tubes, paired with the specified tire model.

Carbon Rim upgrade
Our aluminium rim is a great choice in terms of value for money, but if you're aiming for a lighter, stiffer, and faster ride, upgrading to carbon is worth considering. Carbon rims transfer power more efficiently, absorb vibrations better, and offer a noticeably smoother ride. They also provide aerodynamic advantages, which make a real difference at higher speeds or on longer rides. And the premium look? That’s just the cherry on top.
