Why a feed bag – and why this one

Snacks and small essentials are the items you reach for most often while riding. The Backcountry Food Pouch is built around that:

  • You can reach it while riding. One-handed opening and closure keep contents secure and easy to get at.
  • It adapts to your cockpit. The three-point attachment system adapts to different bar and stem combinations and mounts on either side, including with aerobars and Jones bars.
  • Your knees stay clear. The subtly tapered design prevents knee contact when pedalling out of the saddle.
  • It stays put on rough ground. The secure closure gives a stable fit on any terrain, and the compressible design suits changing loads.
  • The Plus version adds extras. A mesh drainage hole and external mesh wrapper pockets are included on the Plus version.

The body fabric is waterproof, but water can enter through the seams of the stitched section in sustained rain. Apidura recommends an internal dry bag for contents that must stay absolutely dry.

Who is it for?

  • Bikepackers and mountain bikers who want snacks, gloves or sunglasses within reach on the handlebar.
  • Riders with aerobars or Jones bars who need a feed bag that fits different bar and stem combinations.
  • Riders who want extra storage options and choose the Plus version with external mesh pockets.
