The Apidura Backcountry Frame Pack (1 L) is a durable, lightweight and seam-welded waterproof frame bag for everyday riding, designed to fit the compact frame geometries of full-suspension mountain bikes. It weighs 100 g, carries tools and snacks without interfering with the shock, and its reversible design works with both steep and slack head tube angles.
Why a small frame pack – and why this one
Full-suspension frames leave very little room inside the main triangle, and most frame bags either hit the shock or leave no space for bottles. A riding pack stuffed with tools is the usual compromise. The Backcountry Frame Pack (1 L) moves the essentials onto the bike instead:
- It fits where others do not. Designed for the compact geometry of full-suspension MTBs, it creates storage that will not interfere with shocks.
- One pack for steep or slack frames. The reversible fit works with both steep and slack head tube angles and a wide variety of frame sizes.
- No rattling on the trail. An HDPE-reinforced structure keeps it stable, and an internal lash tab secures your pump.

Care & maintenance
- Lubricate zips – clean and lubricate regularly with silicone- or petroleum-based grease to maintain performance.
- Spot clean only – stains can be spot treated with concentrated dishwashing liquid. Abrasion is not recommended.

Will the Backcountry Frame Pack (1 L) fit my bike?
It is designed to accommodate a wide range of frame sizes and geometries, including the compact frames of most full-suspension MTBs, and it is reversible for steep or slack head tube angles. To confirm fit, compare the dimension drawing above with your frame.
Can I still fit water bottles?
The pack is designed to leave room for bottles, but final clearance depends on your frame size and geometry and on the bottle size. Where space is tight, side-entry cages make bottle access easier, and a bottle cage adapter can lower the cage to increase clearance.
Can I use it with a top tube bag?
Yes. It is designed to fit alongside the Backcountry Top Tube Pack.
Can I charge a device from it?
Yes. The dual-entry cable port can be pierced in your chosen orientation to route a charging cable.
