The Apidura Backcountry Long Top Tube Pack is a high-capacity, lightweight and seam-welded waterproof 1.8 L top tube bag for mountain biking and rough terrain. It weighs 200 g, is 4.5 cm wide and opens from either end with a waterproof two-way zipper – ideal for mountain bikes with sloping top tubes or limited space inside the main frame.
Why a long top tube bag – and why this one
Modern mountain bikes with sloping top tubes and full-suspension frames leave little room in the main triangle for a frame bag. The top tube is often the most accessible storage space left. The Backcountry Long Top Tube Pack makes the most of it:

Care & maintenance
- Lubricate zippers – clean and lubricate regularly with silicone- or petroleum-based grease to maintain performance.
- Spot clean only – stains can be spot treated with concentrated dishwashing liquid. Abrasion is not recommended.
Frequently asked questions
Will the Backcountry Long Top Tube Pack fit my bike?
In most cases, yes – the straps fit standard, oval and oversized top tubes. As this is a long pack, check its length against your top tube on smaller frames (see the dimension drawing above).
How does it mount?
Without tools: three Hypalon-reinforced velcro straps go around the top tube and one around the steerer. No top tube bolts are needed.
Will my phone fit?
Most standard-sized phones fit. Compare the dimensions in the drawing above with your phone to be sure.
Can I charge devices while riding?
Yes. A cable port lets you charge a GPS or phone from a power bank inside the pack, without sacrificing waterproofing.
