Apidura Bottle Cage Adapter
The Apidura Bottle Cage Adapter is a lightweight, low-profile anodised aluminium plate that raises or lowers a bottle cage by up to 55 mm, creating more space for bottles alongside a frame bag. Weighing just 22 g, it also converts two-bolt mounts on forks and downtubes into three-bolt mounts for cargo cages.
Why a bottle cage adapter – and why this one
With a frame pack fitted, there is often no room left to pull a bottle out of its cage – and many forks only have two-bolt mounts, so three-bolt cargo cages will not fit. The Bottle Cage Adapter solves both problems:
- Your bottles come out easily again. The adapter relocates the bottle cage lower in the frame for improved frame pack clearance, with 55 mm of vertical adjustment.
- Your two-bolt mounts carry cargo cages. It converts two-bolt fork and downtube mounts into three-bolt mounts for extra capacity.
- Any cage fits. It is compatible with all two- and three-bolt cages, and most effective with side-entry bottle cages.
