Apidura Expedition Front Rack Pack - 20 L
The Apidura Expedition Front Rack Pack is a durable, waterproof, seam-welded pack that attaches to a front rack or basket and adds carry capacity for long-distance adventures and touring. Available in 20 L (740 g) and 30 L (900 g), it combines sturdy straps, silicone grips and a moulded HDPE frame with a roll-top and magnetic seal for flexible capacity, and is optimised for compatibility with popular racks and cargo bikes.
Why a front rack pack – and why this one
A front rack gives you a stable platform for bulky gear, but the bag on top must stay put, stay dry and adapt to the load. The Expedition Front Rack Pack addresses these needs:
- It stays secure on the rack. Three base straps with buckles secure the pack to the rack and allow easy attachment and removal, while silicone grips on the base create a solid interface with the rack.
- It keeps its shape. A moulded HDPE thermoplastic frame gives the pack structure.
- It adapts to the load. The roll-top, magnetic seal, compression panel and G-hook provide security and stability for variable load sizes.
- Things are easy to find. External mesh side pockets give quick access while riding, and internal mesh and zip pockets organise and protect valuables.
- Your gear stays dry. A lightweight Trilon waterproof laminate developed specifically for Apidura and RF-welded seams make the pack waterproof.
- Off the bike too. A removable shoulder strap aids off-bike carry and can be stowed in the pack when not in use.
