The Apidura Expedition Full Frame Pack is a fully waterproof, seam-welded pack that fills the bike's main triangle and carries heavy, bulky loads over long distances. Available in 6 L (300 g), 7.5 L (335 g), 12 L (365 g) and 14 L (395 g), it keeps weight low on a narrow, central plane and has an internal pocket and a port for a battery lead or hydration hose. This is the previous-generation model, offered here while stock lasts.
Why a full frame pack – and why this one
Heavy kit such as cooking gear, a water bladder, tent poles or tools is hard to place on a bike without hurting handling. The Expedition Full Frame Pack addresses this:
- Heavy loads sit low. The pack fills the main triangle with a low centre of gravity spread along a narrow, central plane, so it has minimal effect on handling while offering a high volume of storage.
- Large, bulky items fit. The space suits anything from cooking gear or a water bladder to tent poles and heavy tools on longer expeditions and bikepacking trips.
- Your knees keep their space. The pack is designed to maximise storage space without getting in the way.
- You can reach things while riding. An easy opening provides access on the move, and a small internal pocket gives access to the lower compartment.
- Your gear stays dry. The pack is completely waterproof: lightweight three-layer laminate, welded seams, and zippers with protected closures that keep kit dry even in a sustained downpour.
- Power and water on the move. A cable/hydration port works with hydration bladders and charging devices, and an internal pocket keeps valuables secure and close to hand.
Who is it for?
- Expedition riders and long-distance tourers who need to carry heavy loads over long distances.
- Bikepackers who carry their own water and want a bladder, cooking gear or tools low in the frame.
- Riders with adjustable-strap setups who want a pack whose straps are designed to be compatible with other packs.
Which size? Four sizes are available: 6 L, 7.5 L, 12 L and 14 L. Compare the dimension drawings below with the inside of your frame triangle before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the current Apidura full frame pack?
No. This is the previous-generation Expedition Full Frame Pack. Apidura has since introduced a redesigned version. This model remains a proven, fully waterproof design and is offered while stock lasts.
What size full frame pack should I choose?
Check the dimension drawings above against the inside of your frame triangle. Sizes available: 6 L, 7.5 L, 12 L and 14 L.
Is it really waterproof?
The pack is completely waterproof: the three-layer laminate is welded at the seams for a watertight seal, and the zippers have protected closures that keep kit dry even in a sustained downpour.
Can I carry a water bladder or charge a device?
Yes. The cable/hydration port is intended for charging devices or staying hydrated on the road, and the pack space is suited to items such as a water bladder.
