Hiplok E-DX
The Hiplok E-DX (EDX1AB) is a three-piece security set for e-bikes and cargo bikes: the Sold Secure Diamond rated DX D lock, the 110 cm hardened steel X CHAIN with loop ends, and a Z LOK security tie. Together the DX and X CHAIN are rated Sold Secure Gold – with the reach large bikes need.

Why the Hiplok E-DX?
Extended reach. The 110 cm X CHAIN loops round wide frames, cargo boxes and thick posts and is closed by the DX.
Serious security. The DX is Sold Secure Pedal Cycle Diamond and Powered Cycle Gold; the DX + X CHAIN set is Sold Secure Gold.
Two locks in one. Use the DX on its own for quick stops, or with the chain for long stays.
Hardened steel throughout. 14 mm hardened DX shackle and 10 mm hardened X CHAIN with a frame-friendly nylon sleeve.
Anti-pick, coded keys. Anti-pick cylinder, anti-rotation double locking tabs and 3 coded replaceable keys.
Z LOK included. A steel-core security tie for a helmet, an accessory or the front wheel.

Big bike, big value – and a lock that actually reaches
E-bikes and cargo bikes are expensive, heavy and wide. A standard D lock often cannot get round both the frame and a solid object, and a cheap cable is no protection for a bike worth thousands. The DX has an 85 × 150 mm locking area – a tight fit that prevents leverage attacks – and its Clip + Ride system clips to belts, jersey pockets and bag straps.

Security rating: Sold Secure Diamond
Sold Secure is the UK's independent security testing house: locks are attacked with real tools and rated by how long they resist. Diamond is the highest Sold Secure bicycle rating – recommended for expensive bikes, e-bikes and city locking where theft risk is high. The DX and X CHAIN together are rated Sold Secure Gold.

The X CHAIN
Loop-end design, 10 mm hardened steel, 110 cm locking length. Pass it round the frame and the fixed object, then lock both loops with the DX shackle.

Wide racks are no problem
For short stops, the DX alone through the frame and stand is quicker. At home, combine the set with the Hiplok ANKR ground or wall anchor for a permanent locking point.

Carried on the rack
Strap the chain and D lock to the rear rack and secure them with the Z LOK.
Who is it for?
- E-bike owners. High security plus long reach.
- Cargo-bike families. Parking outside schools, shops and at home.
- Daily commuters. Lock at the same place every day and leave the chain there.
- Garage and home use. Large bikes locked to fixed points or a Hiplok ANKR.
