Hiplok ORIGINAL – All Black
The Hiplok ORIGINAL (V150AB, All Black) is the world's original wearable bike lock: a Sold Secure Silver and ART 2-star rated chain lock with an 8 mm hardened steel chain and a 12 mm hardened shackle, worn round your waist while you ride. Strong, flexible everyday security without a bag.

Why the Hiplok ORIGINAL?
Wear it like a belt. The patented fastening adjusts to fit waists from 28" to 44".
Never locked to your body. The belt has its own buckle, so it can always be removed instantly.
Step up in security. Sold Secure Silver, ART 2-star and ENRA approved, tested by SBSC.
8 mm chain, 12 mm shackle. Highest-grade hardened steel chain and a tough, reinforced shackle.
85 cm locking length. Goes round lamp posts, railings, trees and wide racks.
3 coded keys. Lost or broken keys can be replaced.

Real chain-lock security without the backpack
A strong chain lock is the most versatile way to lock a bike, but carrying a heavy chain usually means a backpack or a noisy frame mount. The ORIGINAL started a new category by making the chain wearable.

Security rating: Sold Secure Silver
Sold Secure is the UK's independent security testing house: locks are attacked with real tools and rated by how long they resist. Silver offers a good balance of security and weight for everyday commuting and medium-risk areas. The ORIGINAL is also approved to ART 2 stars and ENRA, and tested by SBSC.

Locked up in town
Lock the frame and, where possible, a wheel to an immovable object, and keep the chain off the ground – it is harder to attack. In very high-risk areas add a second lock, for example a Hiplok DX.

The patented fastening
It adjusts to fit, sits round your waist like a belt and is never locked to you.
Who is it for?
- Daily commuters. Locking in town for hours at a time.
- Riders without a bag. A serious lock that doesn't rattle on the frame.
- Urban riders. Flexibility for odd-shaped street furniture.
- Upgrade buyers. Moving up from a cable or Bronze level lock.
