The PSB Needle Driver Tool is the workshop tool for fitting the oil needle or banjo to a hydraulic brake hose properly and gently: align the hose with the indicator, clamp it, and turn one main screw.

Why this tool?

  • Gentle installation. You turn the main screw to slowly install the oil needle in the hose.
  • Reference indicator. Align the hose with the indicator mark before you clamp it.
  • Secure clamp. Place the hose properly and tighten the side screw to hold it.
  • Needle and banjo specs. PSB makes the push-in spec replaceable: a needle push-in tool and a banjo push-in tool, both suitable for most braking systems according to PSB. The photos show the tool with the needle spec fitted.

Align and clamp the hose

Align the hose with the indicator mark, place it properly in the tool and tighten the side screw to secure it. The red line in the photo shows where the hose is aligned.

Turn the main screw

With the hose clamped, rotate the main screw to slowly install the oil needle in the hose. The red arrows in the photo show the clamp being tightened onto the hose.
