Booda Bike Carbon Fork – Trekking, With lighting cable channel
The Booda Bike Carbon Fork – Trekking, With lighting cable channel is the trekking version of our carbon fork for dynamo lighting: tapered steerer, 12 mm thru-axle and a 398 mm axle-to-crown height, with a channel for a lighting cable.

Why this trekking fork?
Lighting cable channel. A channel for a lighting cable, so the cable of a dynamo light can run inside the fork instead of along its outside. On Booda Bike builds the dynamo lighting upgrade uses a fork with a channel.
Tapered steerer. 28.6 mm (1 1/8") at the top and 39.8 mm at the base, so it takes a tapered headset such as Booda Bike's headset kit for tapered forks.
12 mm thru-axle. Drawn for a 12 mm thru-axle and a 100 mm wide front hub, the same front-end standard as the Road and Wide gravel forks.
398 mm axle-to-crown. That is 31 mm more than the 367 mm of the Road fork (drawing values, ±1 mm), so check the fork length your frame is designed for.

The channel in the fork
In the photo you can see a small oval opening on the side of the crown. According to the Booda Bike drawing, a channel marked Ø9.5 / Ø8.0 runs inside the fork from the crown towards the leg, so the lighting cable stays inside the fork. The version without a channel is the Trekking fork, Without light cable channel.
Who is it for?
- Dynamo light users. Who want to route a lighting cable through the fork and need a fork with a channel.
- Trekking and touring builders. Who want a carbon fork for a frame designed around a 398 mm axle-to-crown height.
- Frame and bike builders. Who spec the fork into their own frames and need its steerer, axle and length values.
