Why this headset kit?
Everything in one set. Two bearings, a washer, a tapered fork base ring, an expander, a dust cap and a clamping ring: the seven parts listed in the table, one of each. 
For tapered steerers. Made for a tapered fork, 1 1/8" to 1.5", the format used on the Booda Bike tapered forks. 
Integrated design. An integrated headset: the bearings sit directly in the frame's head tube, so there are no separate cups to buy. 
Top bearing size given. The top bearing is 30.5 × 41.8 × 8 mm, so you can compare it with the bearing in your current headset.
Both bearings in the box
The set contains a top and a bottom bearing. The top bearing is 30.5 × 41.8 × 8 mm. Both bearings come with the kit, so you can renew the whole headset in one go.
The expander
An expander sits inside the steerer and gives the top bolt something to pull against when you set the headset play. The photo shows it together with a bolt and a top cap; those two parts are not on our verified parts list for the set, so ask us before you order if you need them.
