The Rohloff A12 Reduction Sleeve, right-hand (8595) is the sprocket-side part for fitting a thru-axle Speedhub 500/14 A12 into Syntace X-12 V1 dropouts.

Why the original sleeve?

  • 12 mm to 7 mm. A12 reduction sleeves reduce the 12 mm thru-axle opening to 7 mm for the M7x1 Rohloff axle bolts.
  • Replaces the Syntace bush. On Syntace X-12 V1 frames the clamped M12x1 bush on the sprocket side is replaced by the Rohloff A12 hardware; Rohloff lists 8595 as the right-side part that takes the 8592 sleeve.
  • Measured, not guessed. Rohloff states that 12 mm thru-axle frames must be measured with the A12 dropout measurement kit (Art. 8600) to work out which reduction sleeves and spacers are needed.

Who is it for?

  • Riders with a Syntace X-12 V1 frame. The sprocket-side part for an A12 Speedhub in this dropout.
  • Anyone rebuilding an A12 rear end. A single replacement instead of a full mounting kit.

What goes inside this part?

Rohloff's mounting instructions for Syntace V1 insert the reduction sleeve 8592 into 8595 from outside the right-hand dropout.

Is it for Syntace V2 too?

No. Syntace X-12 V2 has the M12x1 thread cut directly into the dropout and uses the threaded sleeve 8598.
