Rohloff Axleplate TS OEM2
The Rohloff Axleplate TS OEM2 (8228) anchors the torque of a threaded-axle Speedhub 500/14 TS hub at the IS disc brake mount – with a support bolt, Speedbone or Monkey Bone – so no torque arm is needed.

Why the TS OEM2 plate?
Anchors at the IS mount. The seat wraps around a support bolt in the lower caliper hole, or a Speedbone / Monkey Bone peg.
Threaded axle. For TS hubs fixed with M10x1 axle nuts.
Frame approval. Rohloff requires the frame manufacturer's permission for this anchoring; otherwise use is at the rider's own risk.
Who is it for?
- TS frames with IS disc mount. A tidy alternative to the torque arm.
- Disc-brake touring bikes. Combine with a Speedbone or Monkey Bone.

Frequently asked questions
Which anchor do I need with a disc brake fitted?
Use a Speedbone or Monkey Bone; with no brake on the mount, a support bolt (8560) is enough.
My dropouts are thick – is there a long version?
Yes, 8228L.
About Rohloff
Rohloff AG is a German manufacturer from the Kassel area, best known for the Speedhub 500/14 – a sealed 14-speed gear hub with evenly spaced gears. Rohloff sells every spare part as an individual item, so a Speedhub can be serviced and adapted to a new frame instead of being replaced.
BoodaBike (Massive Bikes, Budapest) is an official Rohloff service centre, trained by Rohloff, and an official European distributor of Rohloff hubs and parts. We build Speedhub bikes with Gates belt drive ourselves – if you are unsure which part fits your hub or frame, ask us before ordering.
