Rohloff CC PM Set Axle-plate CC PM + PM Bone
The Rohloff CC PM Set (Art. 8563) combines the CC PM axle plate (8225) and the PM Bone (8555) – the torque support that anchors a quick-release SPEEDHUB 500/14 to frames with a Postmount brake mount.

Why the CC PM Set?
Uses the brake mount. The PM Bone is bolted under the disc brake caliper into the Postmount threads – no torque arm, no special dropout needed.
Safe torque anchoring. A gear hub axle always tries to rotate under load; the axle plate and PM Bone pass this torque into the frame.
Clear rotor rules. The PM Bone acts as an adapter: PM 160 mm needs a 180 mm rotor, PM 180 mm needs a 203 mm rotor.
Both parts in one set. Axle plate and bone are matched – no guessing which pieces belong together.

Fitting conditions
Rohloff allows the PM Bone/PM axle plate only if the axle area of the plate lies flush against the dropout and does not touch weld beads or frame tubes, and only where the anchoring point lies behind an imaginary line through the dropout slot.
The axle plate is fixed to the hub with five TX20 axle plate screws (3 Nm).

Not every frame qualifies
PM 140 mm and PM 203 mm direct mounts are not compatible. Frames with an IS mount on the chainstay can use an IS/PM adapter with the PM Bone.
PM Bone and PM axle plate are not authorised or tested for tandem or cargo use.
Who is it for?
- Touring and gravel bikes with Postmount brakes. Fit a CC SPEEDHUB without a long torque arm.
- Frame conversions. When moving a SPEEDHUB into a disc-brake frame without Rohloff dropouts.
- Riders replacing a torque support. Genuine, matched parts.

Frequently asked questions
My bike has ABS or Magura Gustav Pro brakes – is this set right?
Rohloff requires the PM Bone 2.0 (8555-2.0) on wheels with ABS and/or Magura Gustav Pro brakes. This set contains the standard PM Bone 8555.
Why do I need a bigger brake rotor?
The PM Bone sits under the caliper and works like a +20 mm adapter, so the rotor must be one size larger.
Is it suitable for my frame?
Check the two preconditions (flush axle plate, anchoring point behind the dropout slot line). If unsure, send us photos of your dropout before ordering.
About Rohloff
Rohloff AG from Fuldatal near Kassel, Germany, builds the SPEEDHUB 500/14: a 14-speed gear hub with evenly spaced gears, a 526% gear range and a sealed oil bath. As robust as the hub is, Rohloff sells small wear and replacement parts individually, so a SPEEDHUB is repaired, not replaced.
BoodaBike (Massive Bikes, Budapest) is an official Rohloff service centre, trained by Rohloff, and an official European distributor of Rohloff hubs and parts. We sell genuine Rohloff parts and we are happy to help you identify the right one for your hub version.
