Why a Rohloff rotor?
Fits the Speedhub. Only Rohloff's 4-hole rotors bolt directly onto the SPEEDHUB 500/14 disc brake hub.
1.8 mm. The thickness Shimano, Hayes and many other brakes are designed for.
Three sizes. 160, 180 and 203 mm – more diameter means more braking power and better heat control on loaded bikes.

Choose the size
160 mm for light bikes and moderate terrain, 180 mm for touring, 203 mm for heavy loads, tandems or long descents – always within what your frame and brake adapter allow.
Mounting
Fixed with four M8×0.75 bolts (8214) tightened to 10 Nm. The bolts come with every Rohloff DB hub; the rotor is supplied without bolts.

- Riders upgrading rotor size. Go from 160 to 180 or 203 mm with the matching adapter.

Frequently asked questions
Will a normal 6-bolt rotor fit my Speedhub?
No. Rohloff special brake rotors are required to ride a SPEEDHUB 500/14 with disc brakes: they use the hub's 4-bolt mount (65 mm bolt circle), not the usual 6-bolt or Centerlock standard.
How do I know which thickness my brake needs?
Check your brake manufacturer's specification or the thickness of your current rotor. Using the wrong thickness can affect pad clearance and braking.
Can I fit a bigger rotor?
Usually yes, with the right adapter or Rohloff bone for your frame. Ask us and we will check your set-up.
