Rohloff Disc t2.3 mm - 220 mm
Rohloff 4-hole SPEEDHUB brake rotor, 2.3 mm thick – the heavy-duty version in 180 mm (8278), 203 mm (8279) and 220 mm (8280) for brakes designed for 2.3 mm rotors.

Why the 2.3 mm rotor?
Extra thickness. 2.3 mm of material for brakes made for thicker rotors.
Up to 220 mm. The largest Rohloff rotor sizes for heavy bikes, cargo and e-bikes and long descents.
Speedhub fit. Uses the SPEEDHUB 500/14 4-bolt disc mount.
Built for load. More mass means more heat capacity when the bike is heavy.

Is my brake made for 2.3 mm?
Only use this rotor if your brake manufacturer specifies 2.3 mm rotors. For 1.8 or 2.0 mm brakes choose the matching Rohloff rotor.

Mounting
Four M8×0.75 bolts (8214), 10 Nm. The bolts come with every Rohloff DB hub; the rotor is supplied without bolts.
Who is it for?
- Cargo, tandem and e-bike riders. Heavy systems that need large, thick rotors.
- Riders with 2.3 mm brake systems. The correct Speedhub rotor for those calipers.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use a 2.3 mm rotor with a brake made for 1.8 mm?
Do not mix thicknesses without checking with the brake manufacturer – pad clearance and braking depend on it.
Is there a 160 mm version?
No. The 2.3 mm Rohloff rotor is listed in 180, 203 and 220 mm.
Will a standard 6-bolt rotor fit?
No. Rohloff special brake rotors are required to ride a SPEEDHUB 500/14 with disc brakes: they use the hub's 4-bolt mount (65 mm bolt circle), not the usual 6-bolt or Centerlock standard.
