Rohloff E-14 DC/DC-Can Converter to Shifter Unit Cable - 700 mm
The Rohloff E-14 Connection Cable (Art. 8804–8810) links the E-14 DC/DC-CAN Converter or DC-CAN Adapter in the frame to the E-14 Shifter Unit at the hub – available in seven lengths from 400 to 1000 mm.

Why the right cable length matters
Seven lengths. 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 mm – the right length depends on frame size.
Lilac 6-pole. The cable uses the lilac 6-pole Higo connectors between converter/adapter and shifter unit.
Clean routing. A cable of the right length avoids loops that can catch spokes or the brake rotor.
Both E-14 generations. Listed in the system overview of the first E-14 and of the E-14 2.0 with Bosch Smart System.

Handle with care
Rohloff asks you not to kink, twist or clamp the cable, not to pull on the cable itself when separating connectors, and never to use contact spray.
Damaged cables or cables with damaged insulation must be replaced immediately.

Choosing the length
The converter or adapter sits roughly in the middle of the bike, the shifter unit at the rear hub. Measure the cable route through your frame before ordering.
Who is it for?
- E-14 owners with a damaged cable. Cables are a separate part and can be replaced.
- Frame swaps and rebuilds. A different frame size may need a different length.
- Workshops. For E-14 installations and repairs.

Frequently asked questions
Which length do I need?
Measure the route from the converter/adapter in the frame to the shifter unit at the hub, and choose the next length up.
Is this the cable for the handlebar switch?
No. This is the lilac 6-pole cable to the shifter unit; the switch unit uses a blue 4-pole connector.
Can I unplug it with the e-bike on?
No. Switch the system off first; Rohloff warns that disconnecting while on can damage components.
