The Rohloff Service Kit for SPEEDHUB 500/14 – Version 2018 (8700) is Rohloff's workshop service box: the tools and the spare parts that wear in normal use, so a Speedhub can be serviced on the spot without waiting for parts.

Why the Service Kit?

  • All wear parts. Rohloff: the box includes all spare parts for the SPEEDHUB that are prone to wear and tear.
  • Tools included. Sprocket remover 8508, TX20 T-grip key 8504, cable hook 8506 and cable measuring aids 8713.
  • Oil change kit. With syringe, drain screw and filling tube.
  • Cables and shifter parts. Shifter cable set, internal hub cables, cable guides and adjusters, twist shifter rubber grip and parts.
  • Order in the workshop. Everything in one box – faster service and no waiting for customers.

About 40 items, including twist shifter parts, torque arm and axle plate screws, chain tensioner parts and jockey wheels, bayonet connectors and springs, freewheel springs, TS axle nuts, splined carriers (including a slim version) with a 16T splined sprocket, a paper gasket kit for the axle ring and the SPEEDHUB 500/14 owner's manual.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as the Rohloff Toolkit?

No. The Toolkit (8500) contains only the tools and an oil change kit. The Service Kit adds a full range of wear and spare parts.

Does it fit 190/197 mm hubs?

The included sprocket remover is for 135–177 mm hubs. For 190/197 mm hubs you also need the sprocket remover 8509.
