Rohloff Sprocket remover tool for 135/142/170/177 mm hubs incl. A12 adapter/ bolt
The Rohloff Sprocket remover tool (8508) takes the sprocket off a SPEEDHUB 500/14 in 135, 142, 170 and 177 mm versions, with an A12 adapter and bolt for thru-axle hubs.
Why the Rohloff sprocket remover?
Made for the Speedhub thread. The Speedhub sprocket sits on a six-start thread; the tool fits over the driver to unscrew it safely.
CC, TS and A12. Secured with the quick release (CC) or axle nut (TS); the included adapter and bolt cover A12 thru-axle hubs.
Standard tools. Used with a chain whip and a 24 mm wrench.
Carriers too. Rohloff states it also removes the splined sprocket carrier and the original Carbon Drive carrier.
Who is it for?
- Speedhub owners. Turn or replace a worn sprocket, or change gearing.
- Belt drive riders. Remove the carrier when converting to a lock-ring carrier.
- Workshops. The standard Rohloff tool for 135–177 mm hubs.
