The Rohloff Tandem shifter cable set (8267) contains 2 inner cables, 2 housings 2.8 m and 8 ferrules – the long cable set for a SPEEDHUB 500/14 on tandems and other long bikes.
Why the tandem set?
2.8 m housings. Long enough for the cable route of a tandem – Rohloff supplies all tandem hubs with 2.8 m cables. 
Rohloff cable system. 1.1 mm stainless inner cables and 4.7 mm spiral housing with nylon liner. 
Complete. Two inner cables, two housings and eight sealed ferrules.
Tandems and SPEEDHUB
All SPEEDHUB 500/14 models are authorised for tandem use (except PM versions). The tandem set replaces the long cables when they become stiff or damaged.

- Tandem riders. The correct length for the long cable route.
- Recumbent and long-frame riders. When the solo set is too short.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use this set on a solo bike?
Yes – just cut the housings to length. For most solo bikes the standard set 8268 with 2.0 m housings is enough.
Do the cables need lubrication?
No. Mount them dry, free of oil or grease.
