Rohloff Torque arm quick release block
The Rohloff Torque arm quick release block (8240) is the frame-side block of the quick-release fixing for the long torque arm on SPEEDHUB 500/14 CC hubs – it lets you remove the rear wheel without tools at the torque arm.

Why the quick release block?
Quick wheel removal. Together with the quick release head, the torque arm can be released in seconds before taking the wheel out.
Secure locating fork. On CC hubs the long torque arm is held by a locating fork with securing pin and circlips.
Replace just this part. Damaged or lost? Replace the block on its own.

Check the circlips
Make sure both circlips sit correctly on the securing pin after every wheel change.
Who is it for?
- CC SPEEDHUB riders with the long torque arm. Keep tool-free wheel removal working.
- Tourers. Fast wheel removal for punctures on the road.

Frequently asked questions
Is this needed on TS hubs?
No. TS hubs fix the torque arm with the clamp 8241.
