The Shimano GRX RX820 hydraulic brake/shift set – ST-RX820 dual-control levers with BR-RX820 flat-mount calipers, front and rear, 2×12 – is a complete drop-bar control set for gravel and adventure bikes. It comes pre-assembled and bled: lever, hose and caliper in one piece.

Why GRX RX820?

  • Gravel ergonomics. The hood is shaped for long days on rough roads, with a textured grip and a raised horn for control on descents.
  • Reach from the hoods. Brake comfortably without moving to the drops.
  • Hydraulic control. Strong braking with fine, controllable modulation – exactly what you need on loose gravel.
  • 2×12 shifting. Mechanical shifting: left lever for a 2× front derailleur, right lever 12-speed.
  • Pre-bled. Both kits arrive filled with Shimano mineral oil and bled.
  • Finned pads. L05A-RF resin pads with cooling fins.

What is in the set

1 – ST-RX820 dual-control lever, brake and shifter in one; 2 – hydraulic hose, pre-filled with Shimano mineral oil; 3 – BR-RX820 flat-mount caliper with finned resin pads.

The set contains a front kit (left lever, 2× front shifting) and a rear kit (right lever, 12-speed).

Built for loose surfaces

GRX is Shimano's gravel group. The RX820 levers give powerful hydraulic braking with fine control on loose gravel, and the calipers are set up for 160 mm rotors.

What is in the set?

Left lever (front shifting for 2×) with front caliper, and right lever (12-speed) with rear caliper – both pre-bled.

Are rotors included?

No. The calipers are set up for 160 mm rotors; order Center Lock or 6-bolt rotors separately.

Does it work with 1×?

The left lever in this set is the 2× shifting version. For a 1× build ask us before ordering.
