The Supernova E3 Pure 3 (N-P3S-MBLK) is a road-legal 205-lumen dynamo front light in matte black aluminium. It runs from your hub dynamo, switches itself on, has a built-in day running light and a parking light – you fit it once and then forget it.

Always lit, day and night
A hub-dynamo bike with an E3 Pure 3 is always lit. There is no battery to wear out, the LEDs are rated for over 50,000 hours and no light is left on the kitchen table – a light for the whole life of the bike.
Connect a 6 V Supernova E3 Tail Light 2: the rear light then runs from the same system and shares the parking-light function.
Fitting
Mount it with the included Multimount fork bracket and M6 screw, or on a Supernova handlebar or fork mount.
Run the 980 mm cable to the hub dynamo – gold connectors make later wheel removal easy. The 1,080 mm cable connects a 6 V E3 Tail Light 2. Aim the beam so it lights the road without dazzling oncoming traffic.

Does the E3 Pure 3 work on an e-bike?
It is a 6 V dynamo light designed for a hub dynamo. Do not connect it to an e-bike system.
Is there an on/off switch?
No. It works fully automatically – the light is on whenever you ride.
Which tail light should I use with the E3 Pure 3?
A 6 V Supernova E3 Tail Light 2 (rack, mudguard or seat post version) – it also gets the parking-light function.
Do I need gold connectors?
They are not required, but they let you unplug the dynamo cable by hand when you remove the front wheel.
