Why original TRP hoods?

Frequently asked questions

Do these hoods fit the original Hylex or Hylex RS lever?

TRP lists them for Hylex II, Hywire and Vistar. For Hylex and Hylex RS levers, choose the Hylex RS Hoods.

Do I get both sides?

Yes. The hoods are sold as a pair.

Do I have to remove the lever to change the hood?

Usually not. Rubber hoods are rolled back and pulled over the lever body; the handlebar tape may need to be loosened at the lever. If you are unsure, ask a bike workshop.
