Frequently asked questions
What is this axle for?
It is the rear quick release skewer: it goes through a rear hub with a quick-release axle and clamps the wheel in the dropouts.
Which hub or frame does it fit?
Booda Bike's guides describe quick-release rear axles on Rohloff hubs, while Shimano Alfine hubs use axle nuts. We have not confirmed a hub or length for this skewer, so ask us with your hub and frame model before you order.
How is it different from the 142/12 mm thru axle?
The 142/12 mm thru axle threads into the frame and is a separate product for Booda Bike single-speed frames. This one is a skewer for quick-release dropouts.
