The TRP Hywire HD-S8120E set is the drop-bar brake-shift set for Rohloff E-14 electronic shifting: the right TRP Hywire brake-shift lever with the rear caliper, the left TRP Hylex brake lever with the front caliper and the front flat-mount adapter. Brake and change gear without moving your hand.

Why the TRP Hywire set for Rohloff?
The drop-bar shifter of the Rohloff E-14. In Rohloff's E-14 Solo electronic shifting the drop-bar shifter is the TRP Hywire brifter: the shift button sits in the right brake lever, so the twist shifter is no longer needed.
Everything for both wheels. Two levers and two calipers, so you do not have to match parts yourself: the right Hywire lever works the rear brake, the left Hylex lever the front brake.
Integrated master cylinder. The hydraulic system sits inside the lever body for a clean cockpit.
Forged 2-piston calipers. One-piece forged calipers with heat-isolating hybrid pistons for consistent braking on long descents.
Mineral oil, top-loading pads. A 5 mm hose and mineral oil; pads can be changed without removing the caliper.
Front adapter included. The set contains the front flat-mount adapter. A rear adapter is not part of the set.

Is the TRP Hywire set for the Rohloff E-14?
Yes. This is the drop-bar brake-shift set we sell for Rohloff E-14 electronic shifting. Rohloff names the TRP Hywire brifter as the drop-bar shifter of the E-14 Solo. TRP itself developed the Hywire for the Pinion gearbox and describes it as an open model, not exclusive to Pinion.
What is in the set?
The right Hywire brake-shift lever with the rear caliper, the left Hylex brake lever with the front caliper and the front flat-mount adapter. Rotors, a rear adapter and the TRP EWL 10 wire are not included.
Why is the left lever a Hylex?
With the Rohloff E-14 one lever carries the shift button: the right Hywire lever. The left side needs only a brake lever, a TRP Hylex.
Is the TRP EWL 10 wire included?
No. The TRP EWL 10 wire is a separate product in our shop.
Is a rear adapter included?
No. Whether your frame needs a rear adapter depends on the rear rotor size you use. Ask us if you are unsure.
Which brake fluid and rotors do I need?
Only TRP or Tektro mineral oil; DOT fluid damages the system. Use 1.8 mm thick rotors, which are not included.
