Booda Bike Eccentric bottom bracket – 2Bearing + 2Dust cover set in pair, 30 mm axle
This set holds the two bearings and two dust covers of the Booda Bike eccentric bottom bracket for a 30 mm crank axle, one of each for the left and the right side. It is the version you need with the FSA SL-K Carbon crank, whose axle is thicker than that of the standard aluminium crank.

| Bearing, 30 mm bore | 2 |
| Dust cover | 2 |
Why this set?
Made for the eccentric BB. The eccentric bottom bracket is where a Booda Bike sets its belt tension; these are its bearings and dust covers.
For a 30 mm crank axle. The bearings have a 30 mm bore, to fit the thicker axle of the FSA SL-K Carbon crank. For the standard aluminium crank, choose the 25 mm set.
Dust covers included. Each bearing has its own dust cover; after fitting, the dust cover sits level with the top of the eccentric.
A documented service job. Booda Bike publishes a step-by-step guide for changing these bearings, with the tools, the bearing adhesive and the 5 Nm limit on the cap bolts.

The bottom bracket they belong to
The eccentric bottom bracket carries the crank axle. Turning it moves the crank axle slightly forward or back, which changes the belt tension; the bearings sit inside its caps.
Fitting notes
- Mark the position of the non-drive-side cap against the frame before you open the bottom bracket, so the belt tension can return to where it was.
- You will need a 15 mm wrench, a 10 mm and a 4 mm Allen key, a torque wrench, a hammer, a straight wooden plank and bearing adhesive.
- Apply bearing adhesive to the inner surface of both caps, push the dust covers into the new bearings and tap each bearing home with the plank until it is fully seated and the dust cover is level with the top of the eccentric.
- Tighten the three cap bolts to a maximum of 5 Nm, then check the belt tension and the belt line.
- This is advanced service work. If you are not equipped for every step, have a workshop do it.
Who is it for?
- FSA SL-K Carbon crank riders. Booda Bike owners whose bike has, or is getting, the carbon crank with the 30 mm axle.
- Workshops. Who service Booda Bike frames and need the 30 mm bearing and dust cover pair as a ready set.

Frequently asked questions
Which set do I need, 25 mm or 30 mm?
It depends on the crank axle. The FSA SL-K Carbon crank has a 30 mm axle and needs this set; the standard aluminium crank has a 25 mm axle and needs the 25 mm set.
What is in the set?
Two bearings and two dust covers, one of each for the left and the right side of the eccentric bottom bracket.
When should I replace the bearings?
When they are worn or damaged. Booda Bike's guide says damaged bearings must not be reused, and that you should stop and contact them if the caps, bearing seats, dust covers or crank axle are damaged.
Do I need the complete eccentric bottom bracket?
Not if only the bearings and dust covers are worn: this set is enough. The complete Possible eccentric bottom bracket kit is a separate product.
