Rohloff A12 Conical Spacer – left-hand
The Rohloff A12 Conical Spacer, left-hand (8594) fits a 12 mm thru-axle Speedhub 500/14 into Syntace X-12 dropouts: it sits on the disc brake side together with the 8592 reduction sleeve.

Why this spacer?
Made for Syntace X-12. Rohloff lists the conical spacer for the left (disc brake) dropout of Syntace X-12 frames, versions V1 and V2.
Centres the hub. Its conical shape seats in the Syntace dropout so the A12 hub sits correctly.
Single replacement. Lost or damaged spacers can be replaced individually, without a full mounting kit.
Who is it for?
- Riders with a Syntace X-12 frame. The left-side spacer for an A12 Speedhub in these dropouts.
- Frame builders and workshops. Part of the standard A12 fitting hardware for Syntace dropouts.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need anything else on the left side?
Yes, the left-hand reduction sleeve 8592 goes with this spacer.
How do I know my frame is Syntace X-12?
Rohloff states that 12 mm thru-axle frames must be measured with the A12 dropout measurement kit (Art. 8600) to work out which reduction sleeves and spacers are needed. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the dropouts and we will check.
About Rohloff
Rohloff AG is a German manufacturer from the Kassel area, best known for the Speedhub 500/14 – a sealed 14-speed gear hub with evenly spaced gears. Rohloff sells every spare part as an individual item, so a Speedhub can be serviced and adapted to a new frame instead of being replaced.
BoodaBike (Massive Bikes, Budapest) is an official Rohloff service centre, trained by Rohloff, and an official European distributor of Rohloff hubs and parts. We build Speedhub bikes with Gates belt drive ourselves – if you are unsure which part fits your hub or frame, ask us before ordering.
