Rohloff Axle-plate CC PM – 135/170 mm
The Rohloff Axle-plate CC PM (8225) is the Postmount axle plate for quick-release Speedhub 500/14 CC hubs with 135 or 170 mm spacing: used with a PM Bone it anchors the hub torque at the brake mount instead of on a torque arm.

Why the CC PM axle plate?
Uses the Postmount. Together with the PM Bone, the hub torque goes into the Postmount threads.
For quick-release hubs. Fits CC Speedhubs (hollow quick-release axle) with 135 or 170 mm O.L.D.
No torque arm. A tidy frame without clamp or quick-release block on the chainstay.
Simple mounting. Five TX20 screws at 3 Nm.

The anchoring point
Rohloff requires the anchoring point to lie behind an imaginary line through the dropout slot, and the plate must sit flush against the dropout without touching weld beads.
Who is it for?
- Quick-release frames with Postmount. Touring and trekking bikes with a direct PM mount.
- Riders upgrading from a torque arm. Cleaner look, one less part to release when removing the wheel.

Frequently asked questions
Does it fit a TS (threaded axle) hub?
No, this is the CC version for the quick-release axle.
Can I use it with an IS brake mount?
Yes, with an IS/PM adapter plus PM Bone; the rotor then needs to be one size larger than the adapter (160 → 180 mm, 180 → 203 mm).
About Rohloff
Rohloff AG is a German manufacturer from the Kassel area, best known for the Speedhub 500/14 – a sealed 14-speed gear hub with evenly spaced gears. Rohloff sells every spare part as an individual item, so a Speedhub can be serviced and adapted to a new frame instead of being replaced.
BoodaBike (Massive Bikes, Budapest) is an official Rohloff service centre, trained by Rohloff, and an official European distributor of Rohloff hubs and parts. We build Speedhub bikes with Gates belt drive ourselves – if you are unsure which part fits your hub or frame, ask us before ordering.
