Rohloff Axleplate TS OEM2 long
The Rohloff Axleplate TS OEM2 long (8228L) is the TS OEM2 plate with a longer axle journal: IS-mount torque anchoring for threaded-axle Speedhub 500/14 hubs in frames with particularly thick dropouts.
Why the TS OEM2 long plate?
For thick dropouts. Longer axle journal for full thread engagement of the axle nut. 
IS mount anchoring. Anchors at the disc brake mount with a support bolt, Speedbone or Monkey Bone. 
Trailer friendly. The extra length can also take a trailer coupling or rear stand.
Who is it for?
- Owners of thick steel dropouts with IS mount. OEM2 anchoring when the standard plate is too short.
- Riders towing a trailer. Extra length on the axle.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need frame approval?
Yes. Rohloff states the frame manufacturer must approve anchoring on the brake mount; otherwise use is at the rider's own risk.
What is the difference to 8228?
Only the longer axle journal.
