Rohloff Barrel adjusters for Art.No. 8259, 8260
The Rohloff Barrel adjusters (8261) are the pair of cable adjusters for the Rohloff cable guides 13° (8259) and 0° (8260), used to set the shift cable tension of a Speedhub 500/14.

Fine cable tension. Set the play of the two shift cables precisely at the cable guide.

Where they sit
The cable guide 13° (8259) mounts on the cantilever boss; frames without a boss, or with lowered top tubes, use the 0° guide (8260) with a frame clamp on the chainstay. Both take these adjusters.

Frequently asked questions
Do they fit the external gear mech cable box?
No, the cable box uses its own adjusters (8704).
Why does my shifting feel loose?
Too much cable play – the adjusters let you take it up. If it persists, have the cables checked.
