Rohloff Cable hook for shifter cables – internal gear mech
The Rohloff Cable hook (8506) lets you trim the shifter cables of a SPEEDHUB 500/14 with internal gear mech to exactly the right length – whatever the frame design.

Exact cable length. Rohloff designed it so cables for the internal gear mech can be trimmed precisely regardless of frame design.
Clean shifting. Correctly cut cables are the basis of smooth, reliable 14-speed shifting.
Speedhub-specific. Made for Speedhubs with the internal gear mech (cables run into the hub's axle ring).
Part of the kits. Also included in the Rohloff Toolkit (8500) and Service Kit (8700).

Do I need it for a hub with external gear mech?
It is made for the internal gear mech. For the external gear mech Rohloff uses the 200 mm measuring aid from the set 8713.
Is it in the Rohloff Toolkit?
Yes, the Toolkit (8500) contains the cable hook together with the sprocket remover, TX20 key, oil change kit and measuring aids.
