Rohloff Cable-Manager-Kit
The Rohloff Cable-Manager-Kit (Art. 5201) secures the SPEEDHUB shifter cable housings neatly to frames without brazed-on cable guides – one kit holds a cable in two positions.

Why the Cable-Manager-Kit?
Tidy cable run. Each guide block holds one cable housing firmly against the frame – no rattling, no rubbing.
Frame-friendly. Adhesive foam pads sit under the guides to protect the paint.
Easy housing changes. The housings can be taken out of the guides and refitted; only the two small cable ties are renewed, the frame tie stays.
Everything in one bag. Two guides, two adhesive pads and three cable ties (255 × 2.7 × 1.2 mm and 75 × 2.5 × 1.0 mm) according to the Rohloff manual.
Who is it for?
- Frames without cable guides. Custom, older or converted frames where the SPEEDHUB cables need anchoring.
- Hub conversions. When a derailleur bike becomes a SPEEDHUB bike, the cable route often changes.
- Anyone who wants a clean look. A small, neat solution instead of loose tape and zip ties.

Frequently asked questions
How many kits do I need for two shifter cables?
One kit holds one cable in two positions. Rohloff also shows mounting the two brackets one after the other to bring the cables closer together, which then needs two of the long cable ties.
Can I use it for brake cables too?
The guide accepts one cable housing; Rohloff describes it for the SPEEDHUB shifter cables.
What do I renew when I change the cable housing?
Only the two small cable ties – the long tie around the frame can stay.
About Rohloff
Rohloff AG from Fuldatal near Kassel, Germany, builds the SPEEDHUB 500/14: a 14-speed gear hub with evenly spaced gears, a 526% gear range and a sealed oil bath. As robust as the hub is, Rohloff sells small wear and replacement parts individually, so a SPEEDHUB is repaired, not replaced.
BoodaBike (Massive Bikes, Budapest) is an official Rohloff service centre, trained by Rohloff, and an official European distributor of Rohloff hubs and parts. We sell genuine Rohloff parts and we are happy to help you identify the right one for your hub version.
