Rohloff Cable stoppers 1 and 14 for twist shifter light
The Rohloff Cable Stoppers 1 and 14 (Art. 8191) are the two identical housing stops of the Rohloff twist shifter "light" – where the shifter cable housings for gear 1 and gear 14 enter the shifter.
Why genuine cable stoppers?
Housing stop and guide. The stoppers hold the cable housings (with ferrules) firmly in the shifter housing.
Fool-proof fit. The two stoppers are identical and fit in opposite directions; they can only be fully inserted when fitted correctly.
Protects the cable nipple. Rohloff warns not to push the cables without the stoppers fitted – the nipple could get clamped in the shifter housing.
Cheap insurance. Small plastic parts are easily lost or broken during a cable change – keep a spare pair.

The stoppers come out every time the shifter cables are replaced, and go back in with the ferrules between housing and stopper.
The set contains both stoppers (1 and 14), which are identical.
