Rohloff Chain tensioner -15 mm for XXL 190/197 mm
The Rohloff Chain Tensioner -15 mm (Art. 8250-15) is the version with the largest offset in the Rohloff tensioner range, listed in Rohloff’s 2026 OEM price list for XXL hubs with 190/197 mm spacing.
Why the -15 mm version?
15 mm offset. For frames where even the -10 mm version does not line up with the chainline. 
Same proven design. Mounts on the derailleur hanger, swings back for wheel removal and takes up 10 chain links. 
Shared spare parts. Uses the same replacement arm 8249 as the 8250 and 8250-10. 
Genuine Rohloff. Designed for the SPEEDHUB drivetrain and its chainlines.

Which tensioner version is right depends on the frame spacing and the chainline of your setup, which also changes with the sprocket carrier used.

It depends on your chainline. Send us your frame spacing, sprocket carrier and chainline, and we will confirm.
Does it fit 135 mm frames?
For 135/142/170/177 mm frames with a standard hanger Rohloff specifies the standard tensioner 8250.
Are spare parts available?
Yes. Rohloff lists the replacement arm 8249 for the -15 version; for other small parts, ask us which ones fit.
