Rohloff Distancing washers for Chain Tensioner – 6 units
The Rohloff Distancing washers for Chain Tensioner (Art. 8256) are the spacers that set the lateral position of the Rohloff chain tensioner on the derailleur hanger, so the jockey wheels line up with the chain.
Why distancing washers?
Lateral adjustment. Rohloff uses spacers to line the tensioner up with your chainline. 
Quieter drive. A tensioner in line with the sprocket keeps the chain running straight. 
Easily lost. Small washers go missing during wheel or tensioner work – keep spares. 
Chainline changes. Switching sprocket carrier or sprocket can shift the chainline; the tensioner position may need adjusting.
When to readjust
Rohloff notes that converting to a splined carrier may require the chain tensioner position to be adjusted. These washers are how you do it.
