Rohloff E-14 DC-CAN Adapter 2
The Rohloff E-14 2.0 DC-CAN Adapter2 (Art. 8802-05) is the central link between the Bosch Smart System and the Rohloff E-14 2.0 electronic shifting – it supplies power and handles communication for all E-14 components.
Why the DC-CAN Adapter2?
Power and data. Energy supply and communication between all E-14 components run through the adapter.
More connection options. Adapter2 can connect via the High Power Port (HPP) or the BCC of the Bosch system; the first adapter (8802-04) needed the HPP.
Clear connections. Switch unit: blue 4-pole Higo; shifter unit: lilac 6-pole Higo connector.
Current version. Replaces the E-14 2.0 DC-CAN Adapter 8802-04.

Does it work with the first E-14 (Bosch BES2 / Panasonic FIT1)?
No. That system uses the DC/DC-CAN Converter 8802.
Where is it fitted?
Usually inside the down tube or seat tube – check the seatpost insertion space.
Can I unplug connectors with the system on?
No. Switch the Bosch system off first; Rohloff asks you to wait at least 10 minutes before reconnecting.
