Rohloff E-14 DC/DC-CAN Converter
The Rohloff E-14 DC/DC-CAN Converter (Art. 8802) is the central electronic link of the first-generation Rohloff E-14 system for Bosch (BES2) and Panasonic FIT1 e-bikes – it powers the E-14 components and handles their communication.
Why a genuine DC/DC-CAN Converter?
Power and data. Energy supply and communication between all E-14 components are provided and controlled by the converter.
Bosch Y-cable connection. Connects to the Bosch eBike system with a special Bosch Y-cable (black 6-pole Hirose).
Known connectors. Switch unit: blue 4-pole Higo; shifter unit: lilac 6-pole Higo.
Keeps an E-14 bike running. Replace a defective converter instead of rebuilding the whole system.

My bike has the Bosch Smart System – is this the right part?
No. E-14 2.0 with the Bosch Smart System uses the DC-CAN Adapter2 (8802-05).
How do I find out which part is faulty?
Rohloff’s cross-exchange procedure checks shifter unit, switch unit, extension cable and converter in turn – a workshop with the E-14 Diagnostic Kit can do this.
Can I repair a damaged cable on the converter?
No. Rohloff states that cables and connectors cannot be replaced separately.
