Rohloff E-14 Replacement clamp with Torx screws for Trigger Shifter
The Rohloff E-14 Replacement Clamp with Torx Screws (8196) is the handlebar clamp and its two Torx screws for the Rohloff E-14 Trigger – the quick, low-cost fix when the original clamp cracks in a fall or a screw goes missing during a cockpit rebuild.

Why the genuine clamp?
Made for the E-14 Trigger. The trigger body and clamp lock together with a tongue-and-groove joint that allows only one mounting position, so the trigger always sits as Rohloff intended.
Torx screws included. Rohloff tightens the trigger clamp with two TX10 screws to 0.8 Nm – the screws come with the clamp.
Replace the clamp, keep the trigger. A damaged clamp does not mean a new trigger: swap just the part that broke.
Secure grip on the bar. A firm, correctly fitted clamp keeps the trigger from rotating on the handlebar, so every shift lands where your thumb expects it.
Who is it for?
- E-14 riders after a fall. The clamp is the part that takes the knock when the bike goes down.
- Anyone rebuilding the cockpit. New handlebar, new grips or new brake levers – fit the trigger with a fresh clamp and screws.
- Workshops. A small genuine part worth keeping in the drawer for E-14 service jobs.

Frequently asked questions
How do I tighten the clamp correctly?
Rohloff specifies tightening the first TX10 screw to 0.8 Nm and then the second one to 0.8 Nm. Use a small torque tool – the screws are small and easy to overtighten.
Can the trigger be mounted on the left side?
No. Rohloff specifies the E-14 Trigger for the right side of the handlebar only, between the brake lever and the grip, with the cable pointing to the bar centre.
Does it fit the E-14 Switch Unit (8801)?
This clamp is listed for the E-14 Trigger. For the switch unit, send us a photo and we will check which part you need.
