Rohloff Nord-lock® washers – 4x
Rohloff Nord-lock® Washers (8574, set of 4) are the wedge-locking safety washers for the M7 securing bolts of the A12 thru-axle SPEEDHUB 500/14 – Rohloff requires new washers after every fourth opening.

Why replace the Nord-lock washers?
Safety requirement. Rohloff states that the washers must be replaced with new ones after every fourth opening to keep the A12 hub securely mounted.
Wedge-locking principle. The washer pairs lock the M7 bolts against loosening under load.
Exactly 4 pieces. One complete set for both A12 securing bolts (2 pairs).
For frequent wheel removal. Tourers who often take the wheel out reach four openings quickly.
Who is it for?
- A12 SPEEDHUB owners. Keep a fresh set ready for the next wheel removal.
- Bikepackers and tourers. Wheel removal for transport or repairs adds up over a season.
- Workshops. Standard parts for every A12 wheel service.

Frequently asked questions
How do I fit them correctly?
Rohloff notes that the wedge faces of the two washers in each pair must face each other before sliding them onto the M7 bolt.
Is the crack when loosening normal?
Yes. Rohloff points out that the Nord-lock washers open with a clearly audible crack when the bolts are loosened.
Do I also need new bolts?
Not normally. If the bolts are damaged or you need a different length (e.g. Boost or SRAM UDH), ask us for the matching A12 bolt set.
