Rohloff Syringe 50 ml
The Rohloff Syringe 50 ml (8505) is the oil filling syringe for the SPEEDHUB 500/14 oil change – it injects the cleaning oil and fresh oil and draws the old oil back out.
Why the Rohloff syringe?
Made for the oil change. Used with the Rohloff filling tube in the drain screw hole to inject and extract oil.
Exact dosing. The Speedhub gets exactly 12.5 ml of fresh oil – easy to measure with the syringe.
Clean work. Old oil goes straight into the empty bottle, not on the wheel or brake.
Spare for your kit. Replace a used or cracked syringe and keep doing your own oil changes.
Oil change every 5,000 km or once a year
Rohloff asks for an oil change every 5,000 km or once a year. Tip from Rohloff: glue the filling tube onto the syringe so they cannot separate while filling.

No. Oil is sold in the Rohloff oil change kit, which also contains a syringe, filling tube and drain screw.
Can I use any syringe?
You need one that connects tightly to the Rohloff filling tube (8502); this syringe is the matching part.
