Frequently asked questions
Is the old drain screw always replaced?
Rohloff allows the old drain screw to be reused as long as its sealant is not worn. This set includes ten so you can fit a fresh one at every service.
Do I need cleaning oil too?
Yes, 25 ml per oil change. It is not included in this set.
How far should the drain screw go in?
No deeper than flush with the hub shell – otherwise the hub can slip in several gears, Rohloff warns.
