Rohloff Pipe Clamps for Art. #8240
Rohloff Pipe Clamps for the torque arm block (8262, pair) fix the quick-release torque arm block (8240) of a CC SPEEDHUB 500/14 to the chainstay – the genuine replacement for corroded or lost clamps.

Why genuine clamps?
Secure torque arm. The clamps hold the torque arm block firmly on the chainstay so the axle cannot turn.
Simple to fit. Tightened with a slotted or Phillips screwdriver to 5 Nm, according to Rohloff.
Specified by Rohloff. The listed clamps for the 8240 torque arm block.
Pair pack. Two clamps – the full set for one torque arm block.

Why it matters
A loose torque support is one of the causes Rohloff names for damaged shift cables: if the axle can turn, the cables are overstretched. Check the clamps regularly.
Who is it for?
- Owners of CC (quick-release) SPEEDHUBs. With the standard long torque arm and quick-release block.
- Riders of older touring bikes. Clamps age – replace them before they slip.

How tight should they be?
Rohloff specifies 5 Nm for the two clamps.
