Rohloff Shifter cable set
The Rohloff Shifter cable set (8268) contains everything to re-cable a SPEEDHUB 500/14: 2 inner cables 1.1 mm, 2 housings 2.0 m and 8 ferrules – for crisp shifting again after years of use or a new cockpit.

Rohloff cable system. 1.1 mm stainless inner cables with cylindrical nipple and 4.7 mm spiral steel housing with nylon liner.

Frequently asked questions
Is 2.0 m of housing enough for my bike?
It covers most solo bikes. For tandems use the tandem set 8267 with 2.8 m housings.
Do the cables need oil?
No. Rohloff mounts the shift cables dry, free of oil or grease.
How do I set the tension after fitting?
Adjust until there is about 2 mm of play at the twist shifter, then check that all 14 gears can be selected.
