Rohloff Sprocket tool XXL for CC 190 mm / A12 197 mm hubs incl. A12 adapter/bolt
The Rohloff Sprocket remover tool (8509) is the XXL version for wide SPEEDHUB 500/14 hubs – CC 190 mm and A12 197 mm – including the A12 adapter and bolt for thru-axle models.
Why the XXL sprocket remover?
For wide hubs. Made for the long axles of fat bike and wide-frame Speedhubs.
A12 ready. Adapter and bolt included for A12 thru-axle hubs.
Safe removal. Fits over the driver and unscrews the sprocket from its six-start thread with a chain whip and 24 mm wrench.
Carriers too. Rohloff states the sprocket tool also removes splined carriers and the original Carbon Drive carrier.
Fat bikes and cargo bikes
Wide-spaced Speedhubs are common on fat bikes and some cargo and expedition frames. This version reaches over their longer axle so the sprocket can be removed without improvised tools.
With A12 adapter
The adapter and bolt let the tool be secured on A12 thru-axle hubs, which have no quick release or axle nuts.
