Rohloff Twist shifter light – left-hand
The Rohloff Twist shifter light – left-hand (8207) is the left-hand version of the SPEEDHUB 500/14 twist shifter – for riders who want or need to shift with the left hand.
Why a left-hand shifter?
Shift with the left hand. Ideal after a hand or shoulder injury, for left-handed riders or when the right side is taken by other controls. 
All 14 gears. The same 14-gear indexing as the standard shifter. 
Same SPEEDHUB function. Works with the standard Rohloff cable system. 
Replaceable grip. The left-hand rubber grip is available separately (8195).
Comfort first
Many of our customers ride long distances. A shifter on the side that suits your hands makes every ride more comfortable.
Fitting
The shifter fits 22–22.3 mm handlebar sections. Tighten the clamp screws evenly with no more than 2 Nm.
Who is it for?
- Riders with limited right-hand function. Shift comfortably with the other hand.
- Left-handed riders. A natural shifting feel.
- Custom cockpit builds. When the right side is used for other controls.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need a different cable routing?
The cables leave the shifter on the left side of the bar. Plan the housing length accordingly; we can advise on the routing.
Can I swap my existing right-hand shifter for this one?
Yes. It replaces the right-hand shifter; your hub does not change.
