Schwalbe G-One R 622×45 – Tubeless ready
The Schwalbe G-One R 622×45 (700x45C, Performance, RaceGuard, ADDIX Green) puts the versatile G-One R race tread on a high-volume casing – more grip and more comfort, still fast, for rough gravel, trails and long adventure days.
Why the G-One R 45 mm?
Grip, even in the wet. Boomerang-shaped tread blocks and angled side knobs give plenty of grip.
Cornering traction. Paired outer blocks provide maximum traction in corners.
RaceGuard. A race carcass with a RaceGuard insert under the tread gives good puncture protection at high speed.
ADDIX Green. Good performance and durability with Fair Rubber and recycled carbon black.
Tubeless Ready. Run it tubeless with sealant, or with a standard or TPU inner tube.
Volume for rough days
Rough gravel, forest trails, bikepacking and long adventure rides. The 45 mm volume adds comfort and traction on loose and bumpy surfaces while the race carcass keeps the tire quick.
Tubeless at lower pressure
Tubeless Ready (TLR) tires can run tubeless with sealant, or with a standard or TPU inner tube. Mount the tire on a tubeless-ready rim with tubeless rim tape and a tubeless valve, add sealant (for example Schwalbe Doc Blue) and ride a few kilometres straight away so the sealant spreads and seals the tire. Top up the sealant every few months. The large volume works especially well tubeless at lower pressure.

Frequently asked questions
Is the 45 mm G-One R slow on asphalt?
No – the race carcass and the boomerang tread roll well on tarmac. You trade a little speed for a lot more comfort and grip.
Is it suitable for bikepacking?
Yes. The 45 mm volume, RaceGuard protection and good wet grip make it a strong bikepacking tire for mixed routes.
Is it e-bike compatible?
Yes, it carries Schwalbe's E-25 rating for pedelecs up to 25 km/h.
What is the maximum pressure?
Schwalbe specifies a maximum of 4.0 bar (55 psi) for this size.
