Supernova Airstream 2 Battery Front Light
The Supernova Airstream 2 (KA620-BLK) is a road-approved 230-lumen battery front light in an anodized aluminium housing. It is for riders whose bike has no hub dynamo but who want a properly shaped beam – and it can power the matching Airstream Tail Light 2 as well.

Why the Airstream 2?
230 lumen, road-approved. A StVZO-approved beam with 105 lux and the TERRAFLUX 4 lens: the light goes onto the road, not into the eyes of oncoming traffic.
Built-in battery, 4 light levels. From 2.5 hours on the highest level up to 14 hours on the lowest – choose brightness or runtime for each ride.
Powers the tail light too. Plug in the Airstream Tail Light 2 and both lights switch on together. One battery to charge, no forgotten rear light.
Aluminium housing. Anodized aluminium that is made for rain, cold and daily commuting.
Battery can be exchanged. When the battery ages, Supernova service exchanges it – the light can stay in use for many years.
5-year guarantee. Backed by Supernova with at least 10 years of repairability.

A dynamo-quality beam without a dynamo
Cheap battery lights blind oncoming traffic, die in the cold and end up in a drawer after one season. Dynamo lights are excellent, but not every bike has a hub dynamo.
The Airstream 2 sits in between: a road-legal, shaped beam, a housing that shrugs off rain and a battery that can be replaced – so the light lasts as long as your bike.

Everything in the box
Front light, protective plug, 2 mounting rings, handlebar mount for 25.4–31.8 mm bars, griptape, USB-A charging cable and a 110–240 V wide-range power supply.
Charging: 80% in 4 hours, 100% in 6 hours.
Who is it for?
- Commuters. Riding in the dark in autumn and winter and want a light that simply works every day.
- Bikes without a hub dynamo. Belt-drive, gravel and touring bikes that still deserve a premium, road-legal light.
- Riders who switch bikes. The handlebar mount lets you move the light between bikes.
- Riders who hate charging two lights. With the Airstream Tail Light 2 one charge covers front and rear.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Airstream 2 road-legal?
Yes. It is StVZO road-approved; Supernova lists it as one of the brightest approved LED bicycle lights with an integrated battery.
Can I connect a tail light to the Airstream 2?
Yes. The Airstream Tail Light 2 (seat post or rack version) plugs into the front light and runs from its battery, so both lights switch on together.
What happens when the battery ages?
Supernova offers a battery exchange service, so the light can be kept in use for many years.
Does it fit 35 mm handlebars?
The included mount fits 25.4–31.8 mm bars. For a hinged 31.8 mm mount that sits left or right of the stem, choose the Supernova Airstream HBM.

Supernova lights are developed in Germany, and its top models are produced in Gundelfingen near Freiburg. The brand builds machined aluminium housings and lenses that put the light where you need it, and backs its lighting systems with a 5-year guarantee and at least 10 years of repairability.About Supernova
